Do you use an Apple Macintosh Computer? Are you an Employee at American Airlines? If you answer is yes than there are a few things you should know to get around. I am a pilot for American Airlines and I have been using Macs for 9 years. Macs work just fine in a world catering to PCs but here is where it gets good, they don't crash and have very few known viruses. I am running OS X 10.4.4 and I can do everything I need to do at American. (I do not use bidding software) Remember OS X is BSD UNIX. There is a lot going on under that gourgous graphical user interface and if you want to learn more go to my links page. Now what you need to know:
If you want to use your bidding software you will need to purchase Virtual PC. This program will put a fully operational PC on you Mac. Other than bidding I would never use this software because your Mac will do everything else you need, do it better and with Style! Jetnet works, great using Safari For full screen Sabre I use the Citrix server. For instructions go here and click on "Can I use PCFOS on the web"
All things PDF work, you will love the way it's integrated into the operating system
If you have further questions email me. I will be happy to help you. Note- for everything else on the web I use Safari. It's faster and it's not Microsoft.
